Spring Lawn Maintenance
This can take place anywhere from the start of March up till the start of June although middle of March till the end of April are the best time. Our spring lawn care programs include:
- Aerating to reduce compaction and improve drainage
- Moss killer application
- Power raking to remove moss, dead grass, weeds to ready a lawn for new and healthy growth
- Liming to reduce PH levels which are caused by high rainfall. This will help keep moss and weeds out of your lawn as well as keeping the grass healthy if used on a continual basis
- Fertilizing to keep grass green and healthy all year round as well as keep pest and disease problems out
- Top dressing and over seeding to create a dense healthy lawn
Late Summer and Fall Lawn Maintenance
Fall lawn care includes more than just mowing and blowing of leaves. This is the time where you can prepare your lawn for the winter by giving it the nutrients it needs to start back up in the spring and also help with the PH change that will come once the winter rains hits. This time of year can also be used to over seed as long as it is done before September 15th and the weather is not to cold. Our late summer and fall lawn care program includes:
- Liming and fertilizing
- Aerating as needed
- Newly establishing seed lawn (no need to water when it’s raining)
